Sunday, May 5, 2024 - Opened an hour prior. A deep lemon in the glass. Seriously waxy citrus peel, slightly overripe autumnal fruit; imagine wasps eating the apples as the hang from the tree, and baking spices - this almost comes across as American rather than French oak. Clearly one for those who enjoy a fuller, richer style of white Burgundy and shares some similar characteristics to the 2015 Domaine Guy Amiot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets.
