Friday, May 10, 2024 - This is a light ruby, clear wine. There's a strong presence of cherry, raspberry and cranberry on the palate. The body is medium - more like a Burgundy than a ripe California pinot. It's an intense wine but with a mellow consistency. The acidity is zesty and the tannins are soft and chalky. Overall, this is fine wine. I like this effort from Dan Kosta better than his much more ripe Kosta Browne's of the past.
