Sunday, August 23, 2009 - Poured from a good looking bottle with about 3.5 centimeters of ullage. The wine showed medium deep yellow gold with attractive viscosity. Very restrained in the nose at first with attractive wax, apple and green melon developing as the wine aired.
Interestingly, this wine kept getting better for 2-3 hours. As noted, the nose got more complex but, a best, was of moderate intensity. The palate, on the other hand, developed to be powerful, long and reasonably complex. An excellent showing for a 33 year old white wine.
