Mature nose with notes of barnyard, manure, fallen fruit and a funky complex frame, it also has some acetone and nail polish which clears with some air. On the palate it got better and better in the glass, picking up weight and intensity in both fruit and tertiary nuances over midpalate and finish. The fruit is sweet, boiled red berries, predominantly raspberries, red cherries and some tomato. Notes of spices, anise, tobacco and dirt road on midpalate and finish. Fine length and perfect balance.
