Friday, September 4, 2009 - nose - mushrooms,musty, and some cherry. Several in the group picked it out at being corked, though not I. Mouth of an aged wine - musty with muted fruit. The solid tannins overpowered the fruit flavor (and for me possible the corkiness as well). Overall some interesting secondary flavors and a lively discussion about whether corked or not (without consensus) but unbalanced.
