Sunday, September 6, 2009 - True nebbiolo color in the glass and a near perfect aroma of sweet cherries, violets and dust in the nose. A wine for near term drinking the taste was about the cherries and earth balanced with soft but gripping tannin on the sides of the tongue. Long slow finish. A well made wine from a lighter vintage that is perfect to drink while waiting on the barolos and barbarescos to mature. Nice wine and great for the $13 price.
