Saturday, September 19, 2009 - Decanted for an hour. Went up against an '03 Justin Isosceles & an '03 Montelena Napa. I picked the Isosceles as WOTN, while one of my friends chose the Insignia, which was a bit heavy on the oak for me, while the Isosceles seemed more balanced.
The '05 Insignia was the most hedonistic wine I've ever tasted, but it's unfair to compare the two vintages.
