90 Points

Thursday, October 22, 2009 - Despite only approaching it's 10th birthday this wine is surprisingly mature. Deep crimson in colour with a brick red/orange rim, it has a hearty, beefy nose of earth, burnt sugar and stewed fruits. The tannins are a little rugged, but rounded and approachable with a neat balance overall. Very good, and excellent value.
