Thursday, November 5, 2009 - Nose of black cherry, currant and hints of dark chocolate. Light to medium mouthfeel for an overall dry consistency. Plum and sour cherry on the palate with well integrated tannins. Elegant and refreshing medium length finish; the one outstanding characteristic. There is very little structure remaining for this wine to develop further. Expected something more remarkable from a reserve selection, yet there's nothing to distinguish this wine from Lindemans commercial mass production.
