Sunday, January 3, 2010 - Popped and poured. Dark ruby. Cassis, pepper on the nose. Cassis and cherries on the palate which is otherwise dominated by drying tannins and a touch too much heat. Good acidity, though, which leads me to believe this will be better balanced in a couple years. 90+
