Monday, August 22, 2005 - This wine is very tightly constructed with a crystal clear, brickish color. The nose is very open and has scents of herbaceous fruit. The taste still exibits plenty of mouthdrying tannin and some acid but also plenty of ripe red cherries and some casis. I would think that this wine will develop for at least three more years and then peak and be delicious for another two years.

We had this wine again on August 16th, 2008 and it is drinking right-on with what I described above. I would have rated it 89 this time.
