90 Points

Wednesday, June 11, 2008 - Plince '98 is a very good bottle of wine, as long as you give it time. At first thin, not much inspiration or rich fruit one looks for in a Pomerol from a great vintage. But after a few hours, the revisit was a complete transformation. Creamy cherrypie, mocha, black pepper, licorice, tobacco, rich plum and some mint. Fresh, sexy and rich. Not extremely long, but what a change it made! Starting to enter it's drinking window. From 86 to 90 points in 3 hours. That's what I call a proper investment!
