Saturday, January 23, 2010 - Popped and poured - tight at first, needed about an hour to bloom; beautiful "Zin" colored, medium bodied wine; brambly fruit, a hint of clove on the nose; dark fruits, baking spices, a little pepper on the tongue; fine tannins, decent acidity, medium finish. The fruit carried the alcohol well, this was listed as 15.9% ABV and wasn't hot. Overall a very pleasant bottle.
