Community Tasting Note

Sunday, January 24, 2010 - Dark opaque purple. At first, this had dark berries on the nose. As time went on, however, a very definite fig/port/prune aroma developed. ON the palate, dark fruits, some mocha, some tobacco, and a refreshing acidity that was not expected with the porty/figgy/pruny nose. Pretty good, but, at this price/pedrigree, it should be much much better (even putting aside my general lack of interest in cabernet/bordeaux blend type wines these days)
