Friday, March 31, 2006 - Powell brought a signed magnum of this wine to Anwar's house last Saturday when he was in town. We drank it side by side with the 1999 Viader. Not on par with the 1999 in my opinion. I think Winetex called this "nice but uninspiring" in her Cellartracker note and I agree. Some of the same cherry notes as in the 1999 along with raspberry. However, the fruit was a little thinner. 87 points.
