Saturday, February 13, 2010 - My first Rhys, served by Jeff and Kevin. Medium red, proper pinot colored. Very clear. Fantastic nose of mixed fruit and sous bois. I wouldn't have picked it as CA, at all. Medium bodied. Complex. Good acidity and length. Kevin felt it a bit disjointed, but I really liked it.

My favorite bottle of the night, beating out a Voerzio Barolo, Dunn Cab, and an Ojai Syrah.
