Saturday, February 20, 2010 - Medium yellow color. Aromas of honeysuckle, pineapple, and a hint of lime. On the palate, this shows a bit more austerity than past bottles, with a white truffle and hazelnut core framed by light pineapple and melon notes. The finish is long with a floral/mineral impression left on the palate. The youthful fruit is gone from this one and it is maturing into a middle-aged Chardonnay now. Past it if you wanted that tropical/butterscotch profile. Just entering the "mature" phase. Drink.
