Sunday, February 21, 2010 - Medium dark ruby red in color, palate is a mixture of saturated black and red cherries, notes of savory herbs, some bright acidity, moderate fine tannins. There is some lushness, but nothing overripe or over the top, shows elegance and sophistication in a complete package. A beautifully made wine, probably the best example of straight Cab Franc I've had from California.
