Monday, January 30, 2006 - Fruit-forward, New World style shiraz. Full-on red berry nose along with pepper and oak. Richly extracted bright fruit flavours and considerable tannin on the tongue. Pleasant but coarse next to N. Rhone syrah. 2nd bottle cellared for now. Haven't felt driven to stock up with more.
