1993 Mas de Daumas Gassac

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Sunday, April 4, 2010 - Medium-deep red color. Decanted three hours in advance of consumption. Aromas of red berries, plums, currants, meat, and mushroom broth. On the palate, this is middle weight, but still very fresh showing currant, meat, and plum notes with a sweet tobacco note creeping into a moderate finish. Not a blockbuster, but every element seemingly in its place and in balance. Plenty of structure and fruit here to carry it further in the cellar, but mature and ready to drink. Drink or hold.
