Friday, June 11, 2010 - The fill was into the neck, the cork was in great shape -- a pristine bottle all around. A ruby core with a hint of amber at the rim. Quite an extroverted bouquet, with notes of roasted herbs, leather, truffle and spice; very complex, and quite to my liking. Less impressive on the palate, with the structure more noticeable than in the past; became a bit angular and drying on the finish.
