Sunday, July 4, 2010 - Opened for about an hour (decanter and in glass); Nice dark red color color, lots of earth/grass/moss on the nose, taste is absolutely wonderful- lots of fruit, strawberry, cherry, but still hints of earth/grass, some oak, soft/velvet tannins, great balance, nice moderately-long finish. Paired with lamb steaks marinated in garlic+peppercorn+smoked sea salt with a little olive oil. A wonderful wine!
