Sunday, August 8, 2010 - Wow, I'm impressed again. Popped and poured, coarse bubbles. On the nose, quite yeasty with a little bit of caramel apple. Refreshingly crisp on the palate, dry with very Champagnesque breadiness and fruit profile. This bottle tastes slightly past its peak, but that's the problem with dateless NV bottles. Nothing all that complex or life-changing, but a great performer for the price ($16) and an interesting find from a bizarre region.
