Sunday, August 15, 2010 - Decanted 90 min. Loads of red fruit, cassis, and a good amount of wood....not so much typical oak, more of a rough wood, or maybe a bit of cedar. I don't feel that the wine is any sort of decline as some notes are indicating. This wine was drinking very well, definitely has some years left, as the tannins were still firm with a dry finish. From a QPR perspective this is not the best, but if you forget how much you paid for it, it's much more enjoyable!
