Saturday, August 14, 2010 - Decanted for 2 hours. This can still lie down for a number of years. Even after 2 hours this still had an edge to it so I won't open more bottles for at least a year. (Assuming it will soften over time but given it is the second label it may soften and become too thin so will have to watch it carefully) Clearly not as complex as the Pahlmeyer Red. Nice chocolate and good moderate to strong tannins. Definite fruit forward but not overpowering at all - just a young, high end average Napa Cab.
