Thursday, August 19, 2010 - i've never been a montelena fan, but this was a good bottle of this vintage, which i will attribute to superb bottle prep by the campanile somm. it's still a bit harsh for my desires in a napa cab. if this were a 96, i'd cut it some slack. still too young you say? of course you do.
