Saturday, September 11, 2010 - Very dark red color with little transparency. Effusive nose of blackberry, blueberry, iron, and black raspberry. On the palate, this is richly fruited, showing black raspberry, black cherry, blackberry, a hint of anise, some rhubarb/orange tartness at the finish, and a long cherry-blueberry finish. Drinkable now with decanting for an hour or more. Seems to have the stuffing to develop further. Drink if you have several or hold until 2014.
