Palate is sweet, saturated, rich, long; substantial acidity frames the wine. An outstanding Valbelle. Very dense, almost chewy. While I see mention of "surmaturite" in other community TNs, I find no evidence of overripeness or roasted fruit flavors or aromas here -- people worried about the 03 vintage won't have issues with this wine... a safe bet!
