Wednesday, October 27, 2010 - Taste at Elysian. Spice driven wine with some solid earthy and plump fruit characteristics.
Nice lighter baking spices up front coupled with zesty plums, mocha and earth.
Layered expression of Sonoma Pinot Noir - excellent high end example.
The finish shows wonderful balance sporting an opulent well endowed mouth feel.
Solid alcohol with tannins that weren't afraid to (only slightly) show their face.
Beautiful feminine bottling that should age well for a decade or so.
