Sunday, November 14, 2010 - Still very young. Upon opening, the nose was mostly dark fruit and an earthy aroma I had trouble placing. On the palate, the tannins came through right away, mostly dry with just a hint of sweetness. Light berry fruit on the long finish. After two hours, my notes remain consistent though the wine definitely opened up more showing some nuanced fruit. This wine has years left in it.
