Monday, November 22, 2010 - Dark red. Perfumed aromas are fairly high toned, with smoke, graphite, perfectly cooked beef, sweet oak, and herbal whiffs. The palate here is gentle, both from an obviously modern upbringing and from a bit of bottle age. Eventually the oak fatigues somewhat, and I don't ever seeing it get digested before the rest of the wine decays.
