Monday, December 13, 2010 - This 06 Kirschheck never fails to disappoint, and Saturdays bottle was no exception to that trend. Beautiful, not to mention bountiful offering of flower wrapped cherries with that slight almond note is so damn intoxicating to me that I simply get giddy when drinking this. The undertones of minerality and late burst of citrus perfectly brings this to a full, satisfying Spatlese arc. I could drink this any time any where.

12/14/2010 7:52:00 AM - Uh, "Never fails to disappoint..." I think you want to say never disappoints or never fails to not disappoint, which is doubling the negatives, or how about always fails to disappoint, my favorite. Just having some fun. Enjoy the Riesling.
