Friday, December 17, 2010 - Wow! This is what a chardonnay should be. Started with creme brulee, vanilla. A little tight at 50 degrees. Great balance. Creamy, fig, toast, hazelnut. As it warmed in the glass the acidity started to assert itself. Lemon custard, tropical fruit. Opulent without being offensive. Beautiful in the glass. The finish lasts for 15 minutes.

A stunning chardonnay. The best I've ever had.
