Wednesday, December 15, 2010 - Decanted and poured, this wine showed well but seemed more advanced than previous bottles tasted in the past two years. The aromatics shows a combination of of raspberry, thyme, leather, rocks and spice notes. The color is a medium brick to dark ruby. the medium/full bodied palate shows good balance with a medium lengthy finish. The both the palate and bouquet show a maturing quality. Tannins remain present on the finish. This is at or around its peak and is not likely to benefit from additional bottle age.
