Tuesday, January 4, 2011 - Haven't had a bottle of this for 18 months. Dark Purple. Nose of earth, vanilla, menthol, and blackberry. Full palate of ripe dark fruit, earth, leather, graphite, and minerals. Excellent length. Focused acidity. Surprisingly grippy tannins. Elements of both New World and Old World styles.
