Fruit weight remained quite light but some class is evident with burnt matchstick notes and some quality caramilised oak. A little abrasion from the acid in the back palate. Seems a little wound up and even young but the lack of obvious fruit weight places a question mark over how much better it might get. That said, a well made drop that grows on you. Drink to 2013.
