Monday, January 10, 2011 - First day (friday) this was way off - nice nose but thought perhaps it turned. VacuVin. Now (monday) out of the fridge seemed hollow and too light - but any nasty qualities gone. Still has the hi-end CA Chard nose (a la Kongsaard) and once warm fills out. Med weight and body, bit hot with some faint peach and a touch of orange. Unexpectedly this is now an atypical CA Chard that over time has shed its wood and fruit. Years out what remains is indeed interesting as long as one uses German Riesling goggles. Is this what the winemaker intended?
