Monday, January 31, 2011 - An enticing yeasty nose with hints of light brown sugar, tropical fruits and butterscotch kicks things off. Initially, this chard was somewhat one-dimensional (sweet citrus) but as it warmed - give-or-take 1 hour - it opened up a bit into a very tasty tropical fruit (pineapple) & oak-laden wine. Nice drying finish with decent acidity. Slight heat & decent length in the finish as it warmed. Was also versatile enough to bridge the gap between a Dijon vinaigrette-dressed salad and a rich truffle butter cream pasta dish.

For $13 I'd buy this every week of the year.
