Friday, October 10, 2003 - Seattle Tasting Group does "American Bordeaux Varietals" (plus 1992-1997 Pahlmeyer Red) (Seattle, WA, USA): Brown sugar, very plummy and ripe with a hint of mint. Smooth, layered, cedary, and very powerful. This has a gorgeous finish, nicely balanced, very long with tannins spread out over the palate. This is still drinking very young, but it is certainly pleasurable. We had a lone taster rate this as an 88 with everyone else in the 90's. (Group average 91.25)
