95 Points

Sunday, August 13, 2006 - Tasted at 57 degrees F from my cellar.
Nice nose of kirsh and spice. No alcoholic heat on the nose or overripe fruit at this temperature.
Very young and primary.
The palate is very dense and shows almost exclusively primary kirsh cherry type of notes with some elements
of earthiness. Great finish that goes on for some time.
At this temperature, the wine is excellent but very very young. It will improve hopefully so that my score will
seem quite conservative.
