Sunday, March 20, 2011 - Garnet colored with very slight bricking on meniscus. Nose offers cherry, gunpowder, and floral notes. On the palate, I found this to be medium-bodied and balanced, and dominated by cherry flavor, with hints of spice. Long finish. Drank this over a couple of hours after not decanting, it opened up nicely, but recommend decanting.
