Saturday, April 2, 2011 - Absolutely gorgeous wine. Red color with merely hints of bricking at the rim of the glass. Pretty nose of tobacco, currant, dried herbs, and rich earth. In the mouth, sumptuous, with a cool style of fruit that's supported by tremendous layers of complexity. Perhaps not as concentrated or silky as the very best Forman Cabs, but this has aged beautifully, and it is drinking very well right now. These wines are benchmarks for California. A-/A
