Saturday, April 9, 2011 - Decanted one hour. Still young looking, dark ruby robe and rim still quite purple. Closed, very little on the nose other than some straightforward berry fruit. Quite green and minerally on the palate but still with some youthful fruit, not particularly complex. Good body and balance with soft tannins on the finish. It was very good (86-89) but not particularly special, however I suspect that given a few more years it will be more interesting.
