Thursday, April 21, 2011 - Restrained nose at the beginning, but later this started to come up nicely. Complex all across with persistent tertiary flavors. Very much alive and rocking- nice tannins and texture. I think this is just perfect to be enjoyed now. We decided to decant this wine to avoid sediment but this also helped to open it up. It would probably help to have decanted for longer period. The last glass was much more generous than the first- and this was about 40min after we opened. I would decant this wine for 1h to start. Really great!
