Friday, April 15, 2011 - Dinner with Lasse (My place): Dark red color. Potent, port-like aromas with ripe dark fruits, dried cherries and some browning apple. More exciting on the palate with intense and concentrate fruit, fresh and ripe cherries and plums. Very potent, yet with a refreshing coolness underneath. Good acidity balance, although it is dry on the finish. Not certain where this is going, but I am a bit worried about the dried nose and dry finish. I will save my last bottle for a few more years and hope for the best.
