Monday, May 9, 2011 - Drank over the course of two nights. Decanted for an hour and a half on the first night. Very strong tobacco / cigar box aroma right out of the gate. Also had some coffee scent to it as well, and some forest floor. Taste had dark fruit, maybe some blueberry, but not a lot of it. Quite a bit of acidity here, even on the second night it still hadn't worn off. I think this will last quite a while longer, but with the fruit not being very prominent now, I'm not sure that it will end up paying dividends to hold. Had with filet mignon the first night, then on its own the second night - much better with food.
