Palate has a beautiful balance of acidity and fruit, more coffee and chocolate with succulent cassis, very smooth and nigh on resolved tannin after a short decant. Length is the only thing that falters with this wine, it's not got the developing length that I would like - otherwise it would be near perfect. A seriously impressive wine, in a stunning place right now if you like medium term drinking St. Emilion.
