It had a lovely complexity with a sharp funkiness, minerality, the smell of rain plus a beautiful floral characteristic. My mouth was watering by the time I put the glass to my lips... and then, disappointment. Utterly disjointed and imbalanced. Massive acidity out of control. Very little flavor at all other than sharp tart acid. Rarely do I see such a disconnect of quality in a wine - I'd give this a 92 pt. nose and a 69pt. flavor profile.
