Tuesday, July 19, 2011 - 13.5% alcohol. This is in a good place but still has upside. Dark red color. Aromatic nose of wild strawberry, olive, and minerals. In the mouth, it has smoothed out somewhat over the course of the past six months, though it remains a bit sauvage. The wild berry fruit is delicious, complemented by generous olive, pepper, and slightly floral undertones. Bright acidity and a juicy, slightly tannic finish. This will continue to unwind with more time in bottle. A-
