Thursday, July 28, 2011 - A well-balanced, fruity, ripe and mineral wine. The palate marries the sweetness of a ripe, extracted chardonnay with the woody sappiness of a riesling -- picturing a graft of a Central coast chard (varner) onto a body of a dry NY riesling (amici). Somewhat one-dimentional and not an thought provoking endeavor but a very satisfying wine. B
